The ACT PMC Series of non-contact beta trasmission sensors are designed to provide precise, repetable, on-line continuos web measurement of  basis weight or thickness. 
The series include a range of beta isotopes that are application specific and provide measurement of a wide range of materials from tissue to heavy gage plastic and rubber sheet.
